Author & Illustrator
The idea for Pollyhester, her friends and helpers had been around for some time and despite the remote location and poor communications, or maybe indeed because of them, our mountain home allowed me to begin to realise these ideas on paper. The first Pollyhester (978-1-84351-171-7) appeared in 2008, the second (978-1-84351-636-1) in 2014. ‘Sins’ (978-1-84351-662-0), authored by Mary Telford, came out in 2016. And now, late 2019, I’m looking forward to the production next year of the second edition of The Irish Journals of Elizabeth Smith 1840 – 1850 for which editors David Thomson and Moyra McGusty are currently choosing my illustrations. All published by The Lilliput Press.
